I believe therapy is a great tool to better understand the relationships between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I care deeply about creating an environment where you feel safe, comfortable and supported and also where you can feel like the expert in your own life. I like to offer a space where you are in the driver’s seat and I am there to help you navigate.
I am a limited license social worker who earned a Masters in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are struggling with various challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationships, life transitions and identity. I have a background working with refugee foster children and young adults who have experienced trauma, among other challenges. With that comes knowledge about the child welfare system. I generally use a strengths based, person-centered approach but consider myself an eclectic therapist where I tailor my approach to the client’s specific needs because each person is unique and has different needs.
Outside of work I love to go hiking, listen to music, hangout with friends and family and play pickleball!
