I’m passionate about supporting adults who are navigating life transitions, trauma, and adjustment-related challenges. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from your values, my goal is to help you reconnect with what matters most and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.
My clinical work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a compassionate, evidence-informed approach that promotes psychological flexibility and supports value-driven living. At the heart of my practice is a person-centered, collaborative alliance—I believe that therapy works best when you feel heard, respected, and empowered in your own healing process.
While ACT provides a strong foundation, I also draw from other therapeutic modalities to meet your unique needs. I take a culturally responsive and developmentally informed approach, recognizing how identity, history, and context shape each individual’s experience. My work is guided by current research, ethical integrity, and a deep respect for your personal journey.
If you’re looking for a space to explore, grow, and feel supported, I invite you to reach out. I’m here to walk alongside you as you build resilience, navigate challenges, and create a life aligned with your values

There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to therapy. In the beginning, we typically recommend meeting on a weekly basis. This gives us a chance to get to know one another, and as our work together develops, we encourage personal assessments so we can create a schedule that suits your specific needs.
Whether you’ve worked with a therapist before or this is your first time reaching out, you may have questions about Unity Counseling, Amy, and what our work together might look like.
