Are you feeling stuck, anxious, or uncertain about your path forward? Perhaps you're navigating a major life transition, wrestling with self-esteem issues, or seeking a deeper understanding of your identity and relationships. You may be a high achiever or people-pleaser striving for balance, or part of the LGBTQIA+ community in need of a supportive, affirming space. I understand the unique challenges of those dealing with anxiety, adoption-related struggles, perfectionism, and relational issues, and I know there’s a way forward that can bring more alignment, clarity, and connection.

Hello, I’m Courtney, and as a guide for kids, teens, and adults, I offer compassionate, practical support to help you face these challenges. Together, we’ll work through barriers using cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and affirming approaches. I’ll help you build strategies that empower you to find confidence, manage anxiety, and connect deeply with yourself and others.

Imagine entering a space filled with warmth, where soft lighting and calming textures invite you to pause and exhale deeply. In our sessions, you’ll feel the quiet reassurance of a supportive, non-judgmental space where you're fully seen, heard, and valued. Let’s uncover your inner resilience and embrace the confidence needed for authentic connection and self-understanding. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling empowered, with a stronger sense of resilience and confidence to navigate life’s ups and downs. You don’t have to walk this path alone—I’d be honored to support you as you work toward a balanced, fulfilling life that aligns with your true self.

This is my first time in therapy. What can I expect?

In therapy, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we’ll work together to explore your feelings, set personal goals, and develop coping strategies for challenges like anxiety, stress, grief, and more. I’ll tailor our approach using techniques like cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness to meet your unique needs, empowering you to make positive changes at your own pace.

How do I get started with therapy?

The first step is to fill out the contact form with your information to the best of your ability. One of our intake specialists will then reach out to answer any questions you may have and schedule a brief phone consultation. During this call, we’ll ask you to share a little about yourself and discuss what you’d like to focus on in therapy!

Do you accept Insurance?

Unity Counseling offers a wide range of accepted insurances such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Optum, Priority Health, UMR, and United Healthcare. Along with accepting some Medicaid and Medicare! How often would we meet?

There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to therapy. In the beginning, we typically recommend meeting on a weekly basis. This gives us a chance to get to know one another, and as our work together develops, we encourage personal assessments so we can create a schedule that suits your specific needs.
